      A beautiful piece, but I don’t recommend

I love the Unicorn gundam design, and the model looks beautiful, but I cannot recommend it. It is very fragile, and many of the parts are too stiff or too loose. To name a few problems, one of my elbow joint pieces broke in construction, the forearms are too stiff to transform without breaking another piece, and the waist armor and head are very loose and pop off often. If you do purchase this, be very careful with the Runner B pieces in particular, and don’t expect to transform it often or it will most certainly break. That being said, the design and transformation are visually stunning, though mechanically flawed. Very disappointing.

      UNICORN!!

squeezing the transformation gimmick into a 1/144 scale was a crazy task, but they pulled it off, and on top of that they actually improved posability of the mech. so with all of that in mind, i say this an extremely good kit, even if it has some minor faults

      Get the cement ready

I bought this kit as I was getting into the show, excited to make such a cook looking kit. I don't normally go for gimmicky kits with transformations, but this one actually looked pretty awesome. Unfortunately, the mechanics required for the transformation to happen make it very difficult to maintain. Quite often when attempting to repose or even adjust a current pose, pieces fall off repeatedly making the end result feel fragile and frustrating to work with. I recommend picking one side of the transformation, picking a very simple pose (like the one from the front of the box), and cement anything that falls when you try to put it there.
