Mixing Mr. Leveling Thinner into Mr. Color at a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 improves coat leveling and increases shine. When drying is slow because of insufficient air current during winter months, it is best to mix Mr. Color Thinner into Mr. Leveling Thinner.
The mixture will be dry to the touch after a period of about 10 minutes.

Please note: Mr. Leveling Thinner is necessary when thinning clear coats, surfacers, clear paints, or metallic paints.

A fantastic thinner, but not a drink!

This thinner is very good for thinning down other paints from the Mr. Hobby/Mr. Color lines as long as you follow the simple instructions that Gundam Planet provided in the product description above ^. One thing I want to add for new painters is that while the thinned paints may be dry to the touch after about 10 minutes, you should definitely wait for longer for the paint to fully dry/harden. While it may be dry to the touch almost immediately, the paint will still be soft and touching it prematurely can lead to fingerprint marks or crumpling up the smooth surface. Other than that, it is impossible to do any wrong with this thinner as long as you don't mistake it for a fancy water bottle. Even if that happens, don't worry because this thinner is not odorless (use this thinner and any other paints in a well ventilated area!)

A wonderful thinner, but be careful.

Only recently have I moved from just using paint markers for small detail/etc to actual paints, and this thinner has worked wonderfully so far. The only thing I would say is to be careful, as I spilled a tiny bit on the pellet stove(it was off) and it ate right through the high temp paint :P. Works very well for thinning all the various Mr Color paints I have, but now I need to find a ratio that works as I am hand painting, and have noticed that some of the ratios I have tried give various results. Especially with metallic paints, as some it got it to a not overly metallic, and some were good color, and just a hint of metallic. Only thing I would like is if it had a pour type end much like isopropyl bottles

This is the thinner you're looking for

This thinner works great with Mr. Color (enamel), Mr. Aqueous Color (acrylic) and Tamiya Acrylics. It works great with every paint I have.

It's especially good for hand-brushing, since the "Leveling" part of this thinner is a paint retarder. The paint dries more slowly, and thus has more time to level out, which helps even out brush strokes from painting by hand.

There's no reason not to buy thinner in bulk, either. You'll always need some, and if you've got a massive bottle like this, you won't be shy about using it.
