      Kingly Beast

Ahhhhhhhhhh.............Despite Gundam Bael being my very first Gundam, this was the one that really kicked off my Gundam obsession. I remember putting this together and when it was doing feelin such joy, that even now I can't explain it. The claws, the face, the tail...something about this Gundam just spoke to me. I had never seen any Gundam anime and with this I was desperate to find it (which I did in the long run). It's been almost 2 years, and despite the abuse I've given it (I customized it [paint and parts customization], but my skills were poor at the time), it's still sitting somewhat proudly on my shelf. Only recently, I finally gave my custom design an update, thanks to the "Iron-Blooded Coating" edition, and to see both of them together and seeing how my skills have improved is simply amazing.

Anyway, overall this kit is solid. With the enlarged arms, bigger socket joints are equipped for this kit, and since they are not PC, it really gives a solid fit. The backpack has to be the coolest feature and the tail design is just...mmmmmmmmm so good!!!!! My only complaint is that the yellow part of the tail is a sticker yellow, which is annoying.

Overall, favorite IBO design, and used in kitbash to create my favorite GUNPLA

      The King-Beast is here

This is the best HG Barbatos, IMHO. It's beastly. It has a huge mace, which is a little too big for good posing - but you can use the subarm to help. And who needs weapon when you can just flex your claws...or your tail? I painted the yellow parts gold, and it looks awesomely royal.

      Monstrous Barbatos

As my second Favorite Barbatos design this kit is almost perfect were it not for how top heavy it is It would be, I never really got the complaints about how weak IBO Gundam Frame abdomen-waist attachment was until I finished my kit and noticed it for myself so I'd recommend glue or some adhesive for the peg and don't worry since the polycap is supposed to be a ball joint you should just glue it to make it one

Great, but don't trust the pictures!

First, before I start, I wanna say this is no fault of Gundam Planet. This is about how the kit was made by Bandai, and the promo images they show.

Much like other IBO HGs it's a solid kit that's relatively easy to build. It also has a ton of color correcting stickers. Consider painting if it's viable.

What annoyed me about it was the hands. You see those yellow claws in every picture? They are gray and there's not even stickers for them. You HAVE to paint these to get them the right color. This is the one and only time I think I've seen Bandai's pictures on the box be misleading.
