Patience pays off, Shinji Huge EVA fan, so I'm a little bit biased - but I love this kit! It's a lot of work - many small pieces that are stacked in a repetitive way - I'm looking at you, torso! However, the detail and articulation cannot be beat. I have the three main units in this series and can't wait to built them all, but I did want a break after finishing the 01. The weapons and VFX pieces are an awesome touch. That base is fantastic. High recommend!

Eva to save the day Kit is amazing, from the proportions of the limbs to the way it is built. The only thing that I have wrong with the kit and it follows through with the other Eva kits is how the legs are attached to the waist. The joint pops out and has no locking mechanism to keep it in place. So it you move your kits around or change the way that they are posed the legs have a high chance of coming loose.

great kit, just be careful with the hands don't turn the wrists with the hands all the way in, turn the forearm. the little tabs on the hands get absolutely chewed up if you turn the hand too far from the wrist. neat idea from bandai but causes more problems than it's worth imo. also the arms have some trouble staying on. nothing that couldn't be fixed by some glue if you really wanted though.
