Finally, affordable Macross kits It's great to have fairly accessible Macross merch after so long. And the shortcut change parts avoid the issues with a lot of Macross kits and figures where the robot feels flimsy. Honestly, I'd like to see them do similar stuff with HG Gundams that transform in the future. There's a LOT of stickers, which can be a downside, but is somewhat unavoidable given how Macross mechs are designed with a high level of markings, and the stickers are very nice.

obsessed with the forward-swept wing my first macross kit ever and my first 2023 kit. fun build, lovely details, and the only forward-swept wing kit available right now. clear instructions with helpful runner labels for each step, so you know what you need. my only issue was the conversion to gerwalk mode, specifically step 02-3 on page 11. i thought the hip pulled directly up, rather than curving forward, and did a little damage to the top twisty leg joint. luckily didn't interfere with anything and is not visible

Expected more, but satisfied, nonetheless. I was not pleased with the lack of possibility in Guardian Mode. Expected more in a Macross set, but I guess that's on me. Otherwise, easy to build, and not too tedious. Completed it over a week on and off. Fun set. Just stinks about the possibility.... or lack thereof.
