One Of My All Time Favorites Being one of my favorite suits of all time, I was super hyped to build this kit, and I was not disappointed. Without a dedicated Lupus Rex in Master Grade form, this was the next best thing for me, and I adore this Gundam. It's solid, detailed and packing so much of the ferocity that made the Lupus Rex amazing in IBO. An absolute must for Barbatos fans, at least, until we get a MG version.

5 STAR BUILD! This kit is a well made one by bandai. Its affordable and at a good price and height! It's a very good build for the beginner at gundam. 5 Stars on everything.

A beast of a Gunpla! As the final version of Barbatos to appear in the series, Lupus Rex even makes Barbatos Lupus cower!. While the huge sword mace is hard for the hand joints to hold without support, the tail is still fearsome. Instead of backpack manipulators, they have been shifted to the forearms where the cannons were placed on Barbatos Lupus. The show implies the cannons are now wrist mounted, which is the only downgrade I consider between Lupus Rex and Rex. The waist skirts were downsized to give the unit a more agile appearance, but can be easily swapped from other IBO kits. A great base for customizing as the apex frame of all the Barbatos 1/100 releases (MG Barbatos not available at time of writing, wishing for Hi-Res version too).
