Leave it to the Titans to come up with the best MS designs outside of the original Zeta story arc! Although the Hazel variants are reminiscent of the Mk. II, these guys are packing a lot more heat in the forms of thrusters and weapons. This one has a shield, beam saber with effect part and beam rifle that can change modes!

      A product of its time...

The Hazel II is a good kit, but its definitely a product of its time. The design is just so good, that its worth it to suck it up and take the plunge. This evil Gundam just looks so good in any pose, its really just a treat. The AoZ designs are all just so fantastic, and its awesome how interchangeable the kits are.

You also get a lot of options in the box. You get an alternate mohawk, an option of weapons and shields to pick and choose a load out you want to display. If you're a sucker for lore, you can build 2 versions of the kit out of box, the Early type, and late type. Basically, you're just changing out the top of the head. (Combine this kit with a GM Quel, and you can also get the Hazel Reserve unit, or a GM Quel with a Gundam type head.) Your extra Shield booster, which canonically isn't really used by the Hazel II, can also go to the advanced Hazel to turn it into the Hazel High Mobility Type, which is cool!

Quality wise is where this kit flops. Seams run down every single surface, and if you wanna paint this kit, it means you're going to be modifying a lot of the joints in order to fix those seamlines. it also doesn't have the best articulation, and color accuracy. Painting is kinda a must on this kit to get it looking its best. Still, this kit is definitely worth it if you're a fan of Hazels, the titans, or just cool looking Gundams.

It may not be a proper Hazel, but it's still a very good kit.

It's both great as a kit and as parts to give the other Hazels.

      A good build

Started out for extra parts for my Hazel, but wound up giving it a different back pack.
