Let’s face it, GMs can get tiring. Well, some good news is that Bandai is doing a good job to switch up the plain old traditional suit with this Cold Districts variation, which has a much sleeker and edgier look than the original! Featuring a gun that resembles the Sten rather than the traditional beam spray gun and having more angular features, this model seems worlds apart from the original RGM-79. It of course is cast in full color and is snap-together, so no paint or glue is required to complete it. Check out this unique take on an old idea today! Just go easy on it when you inevitably make a diorama of that scene with the Hy-Gogg from 0080.

      Legally drinking GM

Brother is old, and it shows. Not terribly, it's still a quite decent GM, you can just see the turn-of-the-century design philosophy in most everything about it. You probably want to grab another beam sword from somewhere else, they might want you to paint this one.

      Beautiful GM!

Great beginner kit and a lot of fun to build! The arms like to pop out due to a lack of articulation and the gun doesn't sit right in the hand or against the arm, so it's pretty hard to pose how you'd like it. Still, it was a fun and easy build and I love the look of this guy!

I was in an OVA for a minute, then never seen again

This is not a bad kit. Once I was done, it looked pretty great. I just don't like the forearms connect with upper arm/shoulder. That, and the GMG TYPE2 machine gun awkwardly seats in the firing position. Looks great though if you use a 90mm Bullpup, say from the GM Sniper II.

      GM-79

Love this build, simple and easy, and since this is mass production type you can be creative in paint design. Personalize in as trop Variant.

There is a reason why this is $10

I really wanted to like this, the gun looked phenomenal, and I really like the look of the RGM. Unfortunately this is a very old product and I got a lot of vibes that I had when building a high-grade back in the early 2000’s.

I really wanted to like this, the gun looked phenomenal, and I really like the look of the RGM. Unfortunately this is a very old product and I got a lot of vibes that I had when building a high-grade back in the early 2000s.

Except that those high grades in the early 2000s had way better joints than in the kit.

This would be a pretty good buy for people that don’t mind tons of seamlines, parts that fall off easily, and improper proportions for the arm to gun ratio.

Because the Biggest disappointment was that the stock of the gun is so long that it does not rest where a rifle should rest on the shoulders.

Not to mention the arms are the worst construction I have seen in a kit ever as the arm will fall off the joint, apart, or the hand. Only glue will fix this.

While this is fundamentally flawed, for the price of $10... its not the worst thing a person could buy and even though it’s decades back in terms of design...

It does have slightly better color separation than a 2019 no grade...
