      Display worthy

This kit surprisingly includes its own stand which shows the Strike Noir being attached to it (for scene recreation purposes I guess)

the stickers are actually pretty good quality given how I kept touching the bottom of them constantly, yet they didn't come up after I properly applied them (do note that if you want/like the appearance of both Stargazer sticker patterns you'll have to get another figure)

My biggest issue is I heard you could use the backpack as a stand; however, my figure was just too heavy and is slowly moved downward

BACKPACK ON LUNAGAZER looks decent but it is pretty stiff on the adapter and for the curious no, the pegs are so slightly apart for the Lunagazer backpack to be equipped on the Stargazer

      Simple build, lots of stickers

Nice model. It's possible to recreate the scene from the show with the Noir using the included stand.

      Beautiful, but Dated

I bought this on a whim simply because I thought the halo and energy rings were cool. When I finished building it I couldn't believe how much of an underestimate that was. The gold holo-foil stickers are an absolute sight to behold, and the rings and effect parts are absolutely to die for. Add some panel lining and some red and gold paint and you've got yourself a jaw-dropping display piece.

Unfortunately this thing absolutely shows its age feeling like a dated design even when it was first put out in 2006. The hips are very limited, as are the knees, ankles, and don't even get me started on the torso and arms.

In short this thing is BEAUTIFUL if you put some love into it, but unfortunately it's design has some glaring flaws with articulation, but I would still ABSOLUTELY recommend

      They tried, but...

The Stargazer is one of my favorite Gundam designs. Despite resembling a typical gundam hero design superficially its halo, energy rings, and reflective highlights make it something very different. And when they decided to put that into kit form back in 2006 they weren't quite ready to realize it.

The halo gimmick works fine, holding its form on the back, below the hit, or as split wings. The laser rings, on the other hand, are soft plastic and can barely hold their own shape. Some kind of special technique is needed to achieve the rotation shown in preview pics, because even glue won't stop them from leaning to one side. The figure as well has only the barest of articulation, so the legs will be doing most of the work in any pose you settle on.
