      Local type, but with extras!

This kit has everything the NA Local type does, and more! It has the alternate waist, chest, shield, bag, gun... and on. Simply put this kit is a fantastic choice from its customization options alone. There are so many ways to build and equip this beast it is fantastic!

It is, of course, not perfect however. The beam sabers tend to fall out of their back slots. I personally also had a number of pieces, particularly on the head that broke rather easily. The articulation is fairly standard, nothing too nutty here, although it is worth noting that the feet are flat with no articulation or slopes.

In all this is definitely a great kit. I personally love it for so many reasons, namely the aesthetics. Particularly those light grey joints look fantastic when panel lined!

      Excellent HG.

Like a lot of Origin kits, this one feels like a really well-designed, cool HG that packs a lot of value. Multiple shields, a cool wrist-mounted gatling gun, and teh orange and black color scheme all make this a cool variant on the RX-78-01. However, I found it pretty hard to use the gatling with the belt attached to the backpack-mounted drum; the gatling has a smaller drum that can be attached directly to it at least. Also, the bits on backpack to plug the beam sabers into are really loose. But other than those minor quibbles, this is a super cool build.

One of the best MSD kits!

Not only is it an awesome looking kit with lots of detail that's easy to build, but it also comes with parts to make the North American Type Gundam if that's what you prefer! It comes with tons of weapons for both so you can mix and match to your liking!

      First Gunpla!

Bought this at a convention last summer. A great starting kit, and a great pathway to the gunpla addiction.
