Good to have in your tool kit It works pretty well for small parts however don't expect this to be the only sanding/nub remover you need. You are going to get the best results using this AND sanding sponges in your build process.

Overpriced and Worth It This is a solid chunk of change for what you're getting, let's be real. But in my opinion... it actually is legitimately worth it. Is the raser that much better than any other nano glass nail file? Honestly no, not really. It does the same thing they all do. But... this one does do it faster than my sirens, and the slimmer form-factor with the all rounded edges does legitimately make it waaaay easier to fit into tighter gaps to hit spots that in some cases I otherwise would not actually be able to hit at all. The packaging itself is also very sleek and reusable. But the most significant thing to point out about this kit though is this: using the combination of the file and the buffer and the cloth actually honest to god does work EXACTLY as advertised. If you follow the instructions, you can walk away with a model that has absolutely ZERO traces of gate marks with only a moderate amout of effort. I'm serious I swear, I just did it. So that's what you should be gauging the value of here. If that's not big deal to you, don't waste the extra bread. For me though, it's absolutely worth it.

Must have for straight builder This thing works like magic. The Raser is very good in getting rid of nub marks. And the Balancer is fantastic, it can make a surface matte or glossy. I use it on every model kit now, since I don't paint them (except with Gundam Markers and panel liners). It may be pricey, but totally worth it.
