In honor of Gundam's 35th anniversary, Bandai is releasing updated versions of iconic suits from the early days of HGUC, and of course one of the first suits has to be the RX-78-2! Featuring an updated mold that allows for greater poseability and a more detailed build, this kit figures to be at least $20--but it's not! This completely revamped and updated kit will be the same price as the original! That's because new technology allows for more than a 50% increase in points of articulation without a significantly increased parts count.

      Unbeatable entry-level kit!

A smart redesign of the original kit. You can't beat the price point and quality for this little gem.

      A Great kit classic kit

Im new to the hobby so when researching recommended kits this is the one people said to try out. Gotta say I'm happy I tried it, simple and easy to put together.

Gramps Is Back and Better Than Ever!

As many other people have said, this is a solid kit, and a good one to start out with. The build is very easy and it requires almost no painting to be color accurate, with the only areas needing painting are areas near the kneecaps, as well as the head vulcans. The accessories are also good since the Gundam’s beam rifle, two beam sabers (with two effect parts), shield, and bazooka are included, as well as a pair of alternate hands. My only gripe with this kit is that it doesn’t include the Core Fighter, Gundam Hammer, Beam Javelin, or Super Napalm, but then again, I’m forcing myself to find something to complain about. Solid kit. 8/10.
