Fantastic design! I love the Thunderbolt ms designs, and this has to be one of my favorite! The thrusters are a pita to clean up, but they are well worth putting the effort into. I recommend painting the black areas instead of using the stickers. The shoulder armor is cleverly designed for color separation, and it looks good. Coloring is nicer looking than the previous release as well. The whole Zaku kit looks amazing when you're done building it. The backpack arm and the toe claws are great additions that offer instant diorama or vignette options with little or no modifications.

Floats Like A Butterfly, Stings Like A Bazooka! The Old Zaku. Or the Zaku I (Gundam Thunderbolt Ver.). Whichever one suits you best, you aren’t gonna be disappointed. For the price point, you’re getting a surprisingly-detailed little High Grade here with a lovely amount of accessories: Two Zaku Bazookas - one light gray and one dark gray - one Zaku Machinegun, your standard Heat Hawk, and a pair of Cracker Grenades. Most of those can attach onto the big ol’ thruster-pack on it’s back, either clipping onto it itself or attaching to a sub-arm beneath it. For the kit itself, it’s fairly sticker heavy, lots of small circular ones for the little thrusters on the sides of the legs and on the chest, the black stripes on the skirting, the yellow caps on the left shoulder, and some extra little ones for extra detail. Katoki-style~ It’s color accuracy is fantastic, and it’s design is one you’re definitely gonna wanna get a panel liner for. The construction is solid as can be too, although the larger upper arms and legs do limit movement somewhat. Don’t expect a full arm curl with this bad boy All in all, for the price, you couldn’t find a better Zaku I kit! It’s modern, stylish, chic, robust, daring, brave, another adjective, and it cares a lot!
