  • A classic in multiple aspects! This was one of my first HG Zaku kits, and I found it to be very impressive. Having built the original HG Zaku I as well, the sniper versions from Unicorn look and feel like completely different (and more modern) kits. There is a good reason these kits sell out so quickly.

  • Interesting build I love the zaku models. The knee extension is interesting. The sniper model has a good head shape. The decals leave a bit to be desired.

  • An easy and fun build with a lot of potential Excepting a gimmicky fabric wire cover, this kit comes together very intuitively. If you've built a Zaku before, it'll be even easier. Nevertheless, it's very sturdy and solid, simple to paint and equally simple to mod. Also comes with a Zaku machine gun for added customization!

Here's an HGUC model kit of the Zaku I Sniper Type as it appeared in Bandai Namco's games, Mobile Suit Gundam: Battlefield Operation, and Mobile Suit Gundam: Bonds of the Battlefield. This impressive kit is easy to assemble and looks great even without paint! Its right knee can be folded down when taking a sniper position, a nylon mesh cover and bendable wire are included for detailing and connecting the backpack to the sniper rifle, and there are clear plastic parts for the mono eye and scope lens. A Zaku machine gun is also included as a backup weapon.
