Really good, even 12 years later! This was the first MG I built and I absolutely love it. I would honestly recommend getting the Full Saber version for $20 more because who doesn't want TWO giant GN Swords? Apart from that difference, the two kits are identical though so the build process is the same. My biggest gripe would have to be the looseness in a few of the joints. It struggles to stand under its own weight even without the sword/shield, and with the added weight of the shield it sags to the right side. This shouldn't be an issue with an action base but it is definitely something to consider. My other gripe would be the included decals. They're not bad by any means but they could definitely be a lot better. I spent $9 on a set of water slide decals for this kit and they look phenomenal. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this kit (or the Full Saber).

Good Build my only complaint with this build is that the Backpack/Shield assembly mounts directly on the GN Drive and can pull it out when it is rotated toward the back of the unit.

Decade old, still awesome This kit is from 2010 but still great! Amazing shape and amazing array of customizable weapons/shield. But two things to watch out for - don't let it stand by itself without a display base, since the weight of the shield will make it sag to the right. Also, be careful when cutting out gates near the pointy end of clear parts - I almost ruined my sword bits when cutting out gates cuz they were too close to the end.
