STORY

600 years ago, a group of meteorites rained down upon the planet, destroying its crust and causing catastrophes on a global scale.
Following this cataclysmic event, the world's powers concentrated into the Feyetoll Empire—the single largest global superpower that rose to prominence in the aftermath of the wars that took place during the planet's restoration—and the Waize Federation, which was formed in defiance of Feyetoll.
Then, out of the burnt remnants of the meteorites that nearly caused the complete destruction of the planet, a new type of energy that would replace the already depleted fossil fuels was discovered. War once again erupted among the powers as they scrambled to take control of this new energy source. However, strange beings called cryptids began to rise forth from meteorite excavation sites around the world.
To exterminate these cryptids and combat rival powers, humanity developed REAPER and GRIM REAPER—all-purpose humanoid weapons powered by JUNGFRAU UNITS—and EXOSKELETON, a reinforced power suit worn by humans. They soon took over the battlefield.

GALE HOUND Backstory

The suits developed by Glacies are the pinnacle of technology. The flagship model of the company's HOUND series, the GALE HOUND suits have been widely adopted as combat uniforms among nations and mercenaries for their high performance, versatility, and outstanding cost performance.
Keeping basic features to a minimum as additional equipment can be installed, the suits devote the majority of their resources to the design principle of improving the athletic ability of the wearer. This in turn grants all wearers with a high level of performance.

Due to the large number of modular equipment add-ons and ease of customization, variations and one-off models of the suits are not uncommon. The flexibility of the suits' system is also outstanding. When suits are customized for a specific use, they maintain the same performance as the base models.
A typical add-on is the Smasher, which, like the suit, is also developed by Glacies.
The Smasher can transform into a rifle and even a cannon that links with exoskeletons for trigger-free firing. It is often used in conjunction with GALE HOUND as it is foldable and easy to carry.

TITANOMACHIA, an all-new original plastic model kit series, joins the Kotobukiya lineup! The first addition to the EXOSKELETON series is the male exosuit, GALE HOUND.

TITANOMACHIA—an original plastic model kit series by famed modeler, designer, and producer NAOKI—has finally arrived.

The SIDE:ES (EXOSKELETON) line of the series features 1/12 scale male and female armored exoskeleton suit model kits designed by NAOKI himself.

The first in this series is the male exoskeleton suit, GALE HOUND!

• Utilizing his experience as a modeler, NAOKI produces both a sleek model design and excellent action figure. Yoichi Sakamoto, a modeler affiliated with Chemical Attack, was also brought on as an advisor for articulation design to ensure that each armor plate would maintain a high level of mobility while achieving a realistic, natural look of someone wearing a suit.
• The 3mm hard points on the body allows for customization with parts from the TITANOMACHIA series, M.S.G series, and other original plastic model kit series by Kotobukiya.
• Includes two handheld Smashers with left and right attachments. Can be folded and attached to the hard points on the body. Can also change between Rifle Mode and Cannon Mode by swapping out parts. The attachments will also be compatible with weapons included with future releases planned for this series.
• Includes eight PVC hands (left and right hands for closed, open, weapon holding, and weapon support positions). The weapon holding hands have the same specifications as the M.S.G series allowing for items to be held.
• Includes a helmetless male head. Combine the robotic suit with the uncovered head to enjoy new ways to display it.
• The precise color-coding of each part, multi-colored plastic, and pre-painted clear parts allow users to recreate the model just by assembling it.
• The clear abdomen part is layered on top of another base part. Users can create their own original designs by applying the included insignia decals or number decals onto the base part.
• Includes decals for the eyes, abdomen insignia, and other original designs.
